Last Friday I drove from Athens to the big ATL for UGA Advertising Club's semesterly Atlanta Agency Tour. We visited Ames Scullin O'Haire, a very cool, but definitely not snobby, agency located in the Marquis Tower. We also toured The Creative Circus, a hardcore portfolio school that has bred hundreds of award-winning creatives. Our last stop was the World Headquarters of Coca-Cola, where we were treated with endless refreshments and a little "highly-restricted" advertising tips. An absolutely perfect day for any aspiring advertising professional. The only downside was that my poor, old car died no less than three times and my day ended stranded on a Shell gas station off of 14th street waiting for my father and a tow truck to save me.
