Georgia very rarely sees snow. There is normally one mini-blizzard a year that usually falls very unexpectedly in mid-March. But this holiday season, it snowed on Christmas day, something that hasn't happened in Atlanta since the late 1800's! On top of this, we had about 9 inches of snow fall at the start of classes, causing what is now known as the Snowpocalypse. Pretty much everything closed down for 3 days or more, which was absolutely glorious. Despite the terrifying icy roads and several bouts of cabin fever, I thoroughly enjoyed Snowpocalypse, and am having a hard time getting back into the swing of things.
